I heard the reason why it fails is because of heat. I think that it was failing with the 7.62x54r rounds. If that is the case then it would be awsome if they could fix it.

As for the CIA you are right that they are not a "front line" force. They are more likey to do behind the lines action and a bunch of other tasks. CIA seems to have a little branch for everything.

wow....embarrasing..that would weigh like 3/4 of your own body weight plus youd stick out an extra 4 inches...sorry but no that would be dumb...the only option would be to fit a thinner layer of dragonskin OVER the interceptors initial armour plating to strengthen the stopping power. This would still be quite heavy and would take getting used to and carrying less gear

Before the ban took place i bought dragon skin. not only was my mobility improved but it saved my life...twice. i was shot in both the right side of my chest and the liver. Both only produced bruises and some pain for a few days. The interceptor armour that they gave me after the ban took place (they made me trash my $8000 dragon skin for the crappy $2000 interceptor) was crap, reduced mobility and speed and overall sucked...A Co. 23rd Sig.
