i'm impressed that jon was able to keep it going. it's hard to be rational and funny for more than a short while.

You have both sides on the show so they can call each other out on their bogus arguments. It's confrontational and a lot of their arguments are skewed or silly, but it's one way to learn about the issues and challenge your own silly & skewed arguments. I love ya Jon, but you have no right to order others around about public discourse, especially since you have no experience in it yourself.

This was painful to watch. Basically it is entirely personal animus unchecked. I reject entirely the idea that talking heads are somehow "hurting America". It's free speech, Jon, and it's also what people want to watch (at least a huge enough number of people to get the show aired). It'd be great to have a show where people only made intellectually honest arguments for their POV, but those people are hard to find. Even "Left RIght and Center" has devolved into partisan hackery.

I remember this! It was brutal to watch the first time. NICE.

It wasnt funny dude. He was damned serious and honest.Thats what is going on. Why is it that whenever some one voices really concern, the MSM tries to paint it as a joke and many out there buy it. Jon was telling them what they are doing.

This forever sealed Jon Stewart in heart as the funniest, gutsiest, one of the honest people on TV. Which is sad, as he himself would admit, considering he's on Comedy Central.I love watching empty-headed TV talking heads FREAK out on those very rare occasions when somebody gets on TV and really speaks some plain truth. You can see the utter desperation building in Tucker, who showed himself to be a squealing idiot in this.
