Ok 'Roger Ram Jet' after 24 years of being a law enforcement helicopter technician with experience overseas & with over 10 different agencies I can write with 100% truth that 'Engstrom' are the folks on 'dope'. So my reply to you is shut your pie hole & be nice to folks that know a lot more than you "Mr. I know a thing or two about a thing or two' fly-boy!

Put down the crack pipe and back away from the computer. You are an obvious moron who knows nothing about helicopters. Enstroms are by far the safest and more reliable piston helicopters out there. I own one and have over 1300 hours in mine in just under 1 1/2 years with NO major issues and heaps of abuse and flying in the shaded area. Same cannot be said for others. So go back to the garage you came from and leave the real discussions to people who know what they are talking about.

I have owned an Enstrom for several years and have hundreds of hours on the aircraft and have had NO engine or componet failures. The key to success with any aircraft is proper maintenance and timely service by a factory trained mechanic. The hourly operating cost and downtime have been less that a Hughes 300 aircraft that I flew and with the exception of burning more fuel per hour is at or less than a Robinson R22 or 44. Per NTSB, they are one of the safest helicopters flying today.

Enstrom is the biggest pile-o-junk helicopter made, after 24 years of helicopter maintenance I should know, Enstrom should ONLY ship these to China!

This guy is obviously a fixed wing pilot...good luck! Enstroms are nice helicopters, whis I could find one to fly, they are rare birds!
