Sorry. Maybe I'm just too old, or something... but it doesn't seem like art to me. There are other things about the lawless side urban environment that impress and interest me, like BASE jumping and parkour... but tagging... nah. It's vandalism. It's property damage. It's a drain on taxpayers' money. It's ugly. It's a nuissance, covering up legitimate information like street signs. And it gets covered up within days. There are better ways to make a name for yourself than this form of narcissism. |
