Isnt the whole point of the f22 is to be stealth? It wasnt designed to be a dog fighter. Just another point i'd like to make out, the cost of a f22 is what? 130 million dollars u.s. comapred to 30-40 million bucks for a su 30, even the united states couldnt afford the produce the f22 in such numbers to totally dominate the sky with this aircraft. It would ulitmately come down to the f-18's 15's and 16's to verse the su's

let me remind u that the f22 cant do some of the maneuvers that the SU-30 can. and let me remind u, as early as the SU-27 russians already had the vector engines technology and those plans, 20years ago, could already do the cobra maneuver. ur F22s can sit on the ground and drink money from our gov on maintenance at a time of global financial crisis. US owes trillions of dollars in foreign debts already for the gods sake. let me remind u, the f22 has contributed a single kill in iraq/afghanistan

How to see Raptor on radar when it's stealth fighter?
barfoeng (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
It's like this, If you are at war with the US and you see Raptors on your radar you're in trouble so your best chance at survival would be to leave the radar turned off and stay far away from it and hide.

These Russian planes may be superior to the American F-15 but when it comes to the Raptor it is the next level performance and while the Russians work on performing these stunts to show off at airshows the work the USAF is doing with the Raptor (World's most advanced manned fighter) is not for show but for pure buisness and if they were out to put on a show it would look like magic and you all would be saying "Oh my god, how is this possible? The F22 IS the most manuverable."

Impressive control at high angle of attack. It's engines are too well designed so they are able to handle these maneuvers without stalling, nice vid.

Never saw a Su30 before, but as I see it, it closely resembles the JAS39 Gripen and the Eurofighter (except the fact that JAS39 is single engine). Hmmm... I really wonder who copies who... |
