I so much agree I was around in the 60s and 70s, and people just had to compare the Beatles and the Stones, Hendrix and Clapton, Jefferson Airplane, and Grateful Dead. Me? I just enjoyed all the great music...And still do. Coldplay and U2, and all the rest. All the best to you.

As far as the whole Bono v.s. Chris Martin thing goes, honestly I don't believe there is a reason to compare them. They both are their own bands, going in their own direction. I think their both amazing and I'm a fan of both. There shouldn't be a competition about who's better between the two. What's important is that we have bands like Coldplay and U2 around today.
