No style is better. It is down to training and the person practicing the art. Both styles have somthing to offer. Thai boxing is very powerful and savate is very mobile and fast. Combining them makes for the best of both worlds. By the way, Ramon Dekkers is not slouch in the ring so kudos to the french fighter.

Always? Don't be childish.. Take your best 65kg savateur to Lumpini and see what happens under thai rules. Even under Savate rules, you just need the right thai. There are legions who are more elusive and technical than the tank-like Dekker.

si puede pq tiene botas y patadas precisas q hacen golpes de profundidad, ademas su boxeo, es decir su juego de manos, es mejor q el del thai. luego tienen mas resistencia y son escurridizos. una pelea de savate actual seria algo asi como ver pelear a lyoto machida en el UFC.ademas por algo perdio dekker ps ... aunq sea por puntos pero perdio. igual hace lyoto, gana por puntos por algo son deportes el thai, savate, mma y no peleas callejeras.

No Mr you r completely wrong... Penccchio is a pure savate BF fighter, one of the best in 'lourds-legers'. If u knew a little u would have noticed the combination of savate such as fouetté chassé, fouetté balayé etc... Dekker is a legend also, even in thailand for his determination as a MT fighter. But look at the styles... completely different
