Serioiusly, I love this song and Zeppeln. Fav band next to The Who, but gotta give it up to JPJ and Bonham for this song, JPJ is just jammin the hell outta whatever he's playing (i wana say keyboard...?) and Bonham, just wow on them drums. 1 word= Magnificant.

There's little doubt Neil Pert is a great drummer, but I think what really sets Bonham apart from the rest is how he used the base drums to the mesmerizing perfection. Oh, of course there have been and still are many great drummers, such as Steve Smith(formerly of Journey), Ian Paice, Carl Palmer, Cozy Powell and Simon Phillips, but I have yet to hear the perfection of lower-body work achieved by Bonham. |
